Course it's possible!!

All you need is a transformer which is capable of withstanding 25kV across the primary winding, which has a turns ratio of around 8000:1, the same diode & capacitor used in the clip... oh and someone foolhardy enough to climb up the gantry post and attach a wire to the OLE!!

Thanks, but I think I'll stick with the charger that came with my phone!
