It's quite well hidden. First click your name after is says welcome then click edit. Then there is a tab for your avatar. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Click on 'Forum' tab, select 'Profile'. Where it says 'Profile for (username)', click on 'Edit' at the end of the bar. Select the Avatar tab, & edit/change from there.

Same process to the last screen, click on upload picture, & choose a picture from your PC, wherever you have it stored. Make things easier for you, copy & paste the pic you want to use to your desktop, then when you come to locate the pic, just select Desktop, & get the file from there.

There are size and format criteria - can't tell you what they are at the moment but will try and remember to check later, unless someone else knows. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

" said:There are size and format criteria - can't tell you what they are at the moment but will try and remember to check later, unless someone else knows.Mine is set to 200 x 200 pixels. I'm not sure whether you can go bigger than that but Arthur could always start from there and increase the size until the system gets indigestion. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Arthur |

I had a 300*300 120kb png version of my avatar which worked but looked a bit grainy. The other size I have is 100x100 at 21.3kb png, which I think must be the one I used, and looks OK. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Have you pressed "save" which is under the gallery. Also, I have the "Keep current Avatar" button selected, which seems relevant. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |
