Waiting at stop board 15/05/2016 at 02:05 #82355

Hello,

The York manual indicates that when a train is entering from NRM/Refuelling, it will phone for permission to enter, and then phone again for permission to pass the STOP6 board.

Attached is a save where the first train to enter there (5P05), has entered on time with a phone call as expected but has been waiting at the stop board for 15 minutes without calling.

Please advise if there's an extra step required? Thanks very much.

Note that the train behaves correctly if I ask him to pass the board at danger via the train list, also note the next train out (5P13) calls at the stop board as expected.

Cheers

No help here other than to say every train I've had departing NRM/Refuel has made both calls?

Yeah. Every other train out of there has made both calls to me too, except that one. Only reason I reported it is because he sat there for 5, 10, 15 mins with the train list showing that he was waiting at the board. Even if he was stopped at a proper signal he'd have called ages ago.

I've not had that. Can you think of anything unusual about that train - including, for example, whether it was a reload after a save?

I had set and then cancelled the departure signal from the siding after accepting the train, but other than that I can't think of anything unusual.

Will report if it happens again.
