Now available in the Victoria Central timetable user contributed area is the first of a series of timetables covering the winter of 1982 (Welcome to London Victoria Area Signalling Centre on a typical weekday at the end of 1982 / early part of 1983, at this time the fringe to Three Bridges ASC was still in the future.)

All services provided by slam door stock including the soon to be withdrawn class 405 units.

Included in the zip file are the usual two timetables (0000) and (0445) along with a set of notes. It is highly recommended that you read these.

Thanks. Better put the kettle on and get the teapot out. It's still winter here.

Having just started a session one clear benefit is some added interest for the signaller on panel 4 with the 2 single line stretches.

However, before I have had my first service in this area I have encountered an issue with a reversal at Tulse Hill signal 165.

While I can rectify this by abandoning the WTT it may be an issue for some users.

Also enjoying this - had the same issue with 5Y03 though.
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

Issues being noted gents. I need to borrow the relevent Wtt's and stock books, but yes I will be doing a Victoria Eastern in due course. Am late turn at work this week so may not get chance to do much in the way of updates but they are being noted.

Thanks for the timetable Paul, I've been looking forward to this one! Knowing how much work goes into writing a modern Victoria tt, I can only imagine how much hair pulling, wall banging time and effort has been put in by you and your testers for this. Much appreciated!

Changing the stopping position from FX to NX solves the problem.

This might be an error that appears in the WTT but 2J63 is booked SL from Victoria to Balham with a call at Clapham Jn platform 13. Should this be platform 15, or even SL-FL somewhere?

2J63 does appear to be slow line all the way so will alter the main timetable accordingly.

All

When the updated files are issued the change log will be in the format PC-VC 01 etc
Currently I have
PC-VC 01 - 5Y03 Reversal at Tulse Hill.
PC-VC 02 - 2H21 Wrong Carshalton used.
PC-VC 03 - 2J63 Wrong platform Clapham Junction.

Had same issue - edited the WTT by changing FX to default - 5Y03 then stopped behind VC165 and reversed correctly.

Paul,
1L63 pathed Clapham Jn SL->P13->FL, should it be SL->FL at Battersea Pier or is it a real life error?

Another one - 5P56 from Victoria to Battersea Pier CHS is too long for the siding. It stops with its rear hanging out.

For info, 5P56 = 236m (12 coaches), manual says siding is 8 cars in length.

Gents

PC-VC 04 - 1L63 should be SL - FL at Battersea Pier Junction and Fixed

PC-VC 05 - 5P56 in real life would have sat between 527 and 538 signals. This will not be an easy fix as a new location will be needed between those signals. If people are happy as a short term fix will arrange for the fleet planner at Lovers Walk to send that train 8 vice 12.

What I did and I hope I manage to timetable it right is I put in a extra shunt move into the timetable so I have a 1 x 4CIG into one of the sidings and 1 4CIG + 1 4BEP into the other siding and I've done it in such a way that the 4 car arrives first at Victoria with the 8 car arriving a few mins after to form the 12 car as 4CIG - 4BEP - 4CIG.

Yes your way would be a lot easier but I thought I do this instead as like the odd challenge

If it is not shown in Remository

http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=257

then it is still most likely awaiting approval.

Not sure if this has been corrected in the newest version but in the original timetable released you had 2W25 arrived in Victoria's Platform 9 at 09:42 to form 2W24 09:46 to London Bridge but in the timetable allocated to 2W24 it says it's booked to depart at 09:35...

Not sure if this has been picked up or not?

Hi Ajax

That hadn't been mentioned and as such is not in the version that is awaiting authorisation. Will be looked at for the next version under PC-VC 07
