Is there a user manual for the two Leeds simulations?

Inatantly downloaded the Leeds workstations last night. Really happy my local (Ardsley) is now out. Thoroughly recomend it and NW as ideal starter sims for new players!

Only minor issue so far is 6M28 on Ardsley. Its booked into Moorthorpe Loop but doesnt actually fit.

The Splash Screens aren't on the Wiki- there's just a list of file names and descriptions which can be matched to the files included with the simulation.

I dont mean that Steamer

I mean where it says for example Distant Signal Levers:

The East Coastway sim recreates a simple representation of distant levers where these were provided as separate levers in the boxes. In order to clear the distant signals you must firstly clear all applicable home, starter and advanced starting signals and once these are exhibiting proceed aspects as shown below.

But I cannot see anything below except a little green box

I know what the splash screens are

Is the little green box a representation of a green signal aka a proceed aspect?

The pictures linked in the wiki manual comes up with restricted access / no permission for us without full access.

Perhaps they are still linked to somewhere behind the developer access only wall?

Regarding the manual pics, I will speak to somebody who will know more about how the wiki functions in that sense during the day today.

Thanks also Driver Curran, I am trying to get my head around the wiki prior to purchasing the sim to ensure it wont end up sitting in the siding unused

I've added overview image into manual.

(Could be wider if repositioned lower down the page)

Ok, so its not the overview but maybe thats not why you added it, so apologies if not... I have attached a picture of what I can see within the wiki... I would normally say its not important but if its in a wiki it must be surely?

If its something I am doing wrong tell me and I will adjust my settings. (Apologies about the standard of picture attached but I took it on my iPhone)

Thanks and sorry I am being a pain

I'm not seeing any graphics either. The graphics placeholders in Bri2808's picture are directed to graphics of the general form {{:devcode:distant1.png}}. Does that mean the graphics are held in an area restricted to mere mortals?

Incidentally, using Firefox 49 beta 64-bit the placeholders do not show until I hover the cursor over the edit button at the foot of the section (available if you are logged in to the Wiki) after which the placeholders (but no graphics) magically appear.

Correct, and the screenshot shows broken link images, and AndyG has dev access so probably didn't realise. Paul will move them over or re-upload them ASAP.

I grew up in Shipley (Nab Wood) with Saltaire my nearest station, so this feels like home turf.

In my day it was mostly 101 DMUs or similar, followed by pacers (urgh). There were still loco-hauled services on the longer routes - usually Class 31s to/from Lancaster/Morecambe and Class 47s to/from Carlisle.

Electrification happened after I moved away.

I think I have now changed the 'location' of the images, could somebody please confirm. I have tried logging out but it would still be nice to have it confirmed

Cheers

The manual omits to advise how the derailer GF at keighley works. IIRC The York signaller gives the release and authority to pass the stop board and then the frame is reversed to allow access in both directions.

As it was me making all the fuss (apologies) I can confirm that I can now indeed see all the pictures and it makes a lot more sense now... Thank you Paul
