Just playing this sim and having referanced wiki I am confused, in wiki it says that 91+mk4 trains will use P3X at Shipley, but it is not in the availible platform options in the sim.

All I can say is one is wrong, but which one I daren't ask.

I'm not sure whether it should be included in the simulation, only the developer can answer that. But an "X" on the end of a platform usually means the train needs the full length, or needs the signal at the end off in order to be fully platformed. I'm fairly sure the later is the case at Shipley in real life.

"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer

According to wiki it says it uses the platform code 3X at Shipley

At Skipton the platform code used for HST's is 2X, which is in the sim

In real life (as a signaller working this workstation), I can confirm that the VTEC services do use platform 3X in the up direction at Shipley, this is because the SBSI state that before routing the train into P3 the route from L3966 to L3934 must be cleared, to enable maximum amount of the train to be on the platform. Likewise at Skipton platform 2X is used so that the route from L4033 to LOS can be set, as the HST/Mk4 stopping point is passed the signal (but not the block jojnt), these trains always call in to confirm they are at a stand and that L4033 can be replaced to danger
