I am current playing a multisim multipalyer, and the F10 send message is not working as expected, from my understanding the check box for client/server is checked which allows to chat with others in the same sim as me, that works fine its where I want to chat/send message with an ajacent box I tick the box "Leeds East/West" but messages are not appearing.

This is not confined to to this chain as I have just set up a multisim on my own PC and connected as a client, but check the recients box for a neighbouring box it does not work for sending a message.

Test Scenario

Brighton chained to Eastcoastway

I connect as client with Eastcoastway

in client press F10

in reciepients click on brighton, but any message I Send does not go to brighton.

Am I doing something wrong for this not to work?

Boldly going forward 'cause we can't find reverse. Boldly going forward, still can't find reverse. Boldly going forward, and things are getting worse!.

Only the host can send messaged between simulations in a chain.

That's an interesting point, because whilst hosting the same session the other participants were apparently unable to see the messages I was sending to the chained sims.

My understanding was it only works host to host.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you meant from host to client. Indeed, my own messages were visible to me across the sims I was hosting. Makes sense now.
