I'm not sure if anyone is aware of this, but during the Early May Bank Holiday this year, extensive work was carried out at the VSC and on the ground to re-control Streatham Junction to the new TBROC. Is this something you will be looking to implement in a later release of the simulation? I was lucky enough to be one of those working on the changeovers at the VSC during the weekend and managed to take a set of pictures of the new panel, if anyone is interested.

Does anyone know how to get the actual picture to appear in the forum, rather than just the attachment? Thanks

ThanksI is possible but at the moment is long winded, and had the major disadvantage that pictures are NOT resized to make viewable on site, in other words if you do it for a picture of 2048 pixels by 2048 pixels it will display as such and not scale down as needed for the site or user monitor. I don't know if it is in the works to sort out, but viewing as attachments at the moment is the best way. More Info Having just been playing around the way I could do it before nolonger works so please disregard what I said orginally Last edited: 27/10/2016 at 13:24 by MarkC Reason: edit Log in to reply |

At least I know it isn't something I'm doing wrong I'll wait and see if this is an issue that will get resolved before uploading anything else.Does anyone know how to get the actual picture to appear in the forum, rather than just the attachment? If it's just a recontrol then why would there be any need for change as the operational side (ie routing) wouldn't have changed I shouldn't think. Log in to reply |

The signal numbers numeric value stayed the same, though the prefix changed from VC to TVC, and I think all the physical signals were replaced from 4 lamp heads to 2 LED heads. One of the signals at Streatham station was changed from VC171 ground-position signal to a TVC main aspect signal (though I don't know the number). Also one of the routes from this signal was removed. It is no longer a relay-based interlocking - it is something computer based, I suspect Westlock (?) and it is now controlled by a computer workstation at Three Bridges ROC. Log in to reply |
