How does Leamington know which version is coming in, and how does Coventry know not to enter it if Saltley already has.
Does Leamington need to know or does it just react to a train handed over at the fringe? However, you do need some way for Saltley and Coventry to agree about which one should enter.

Well let's add on to the scenario.

Both 1Z99-Saltley and 1Z99-Coventry shunts back into the field sidings at Leamington, they have different UIDs so how does Leamington know which rule to trigger when it is chained. Or as you say, does it need to know, I suppose it depends on the particular scenario.
