I'm please to announce that at least one never before seen simulation will be previewed at the March 2017 meet. The more laptops that people bring to the meet the more opportunity there'll be for people to have a look.

I'll purchase one pint for the first person who successfully guesses the simulation, and attends the meet!

I heard a rumour recently that Geoff was extending the range of simulations, so I reckon the unseen SimSig simulation is Ryde St Johns Road which can be chained to Portsmouth via the first in the SimFerry range - Wightlink.

I would think (and hope) either:
- Doncaster
- Manchester Piccadilly

And speaking of sims that would fill a gap, such as Doncaster, I would also consider the possibility of Salisbury to Exeter. Another bet that I might consider would be a Loadeer version of something that is currently not so, such as Peterborough but I suspect that to be unlikely.

As a Northern driver based at Piccadilly, I'd love to see the area in sim form.

A sim of the Crewe area (combining the boxes around the station as well) would be very interesting as well.

Not sure if I'll be able to attend at present, though I don't have a laptop to bring even if I can.

There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

London Bridge would be a great one to have.

I was told my guesses were "miles out" so I will throw, for possibilities, four more thoughts into the ring:

- Glasgow Central
- Yoker IECC
- Eastleigh
- Far West (ie. Plymouth & Cornwall)

A SimSig player who I saw earlier today on a daytrip with the Swindon Panel Society. I believe I am right in thinking he is one of the testers.

Individual testers don't necessarily know, or test, what every developer is working on.

I'm not at all convinced its the correct answer (given headshot made the announcement and he generally is covering wales) but Chester would be a great single player sim to connect NWC with NEW and shrewsbury.

Realistic guess - something with sheep and rarebit involved.

Wonder if the 'Gap' could be the current gap in the WCML between Stafford (as was) and Carlisle - so Crewe, Warrington and Preston. Which would be an epic chain too!

Tweed mouth,

I have the data for Tweedmouth, but not Alnmouth or Morpeth; nor the numerous Northumberland boxes off the ECML.

Although am I right in thinking that in the modern era doesn't exist and that where North Pole Depot is on Vic Central was the old connection from near Old Oak on the GWML?
