I forget the TDs, but in the early-ish morning (6am?) a down 4xxx and a 6xxx run in essentially the same path from Ebbw Jn (Relief Lines) to Bridgend. Given that the TT is supposedly "what ran on the day", did NR's planning office make a mistake and run both?

Mod Note - The timetable is correct Playing this from 0445 and have noticed that 2S04 which is down as 06:02:00 Taunton-Cardiff Central GWR (DMU Class 150 (2 Car)) arrives into Cardiff at 08:24 and becomes 5C69 should actually be 2P04 as 2S04 is 0706 Cardiff Bay to Cardiff Queen Street Last edited: 20/03/2017 at 14:09 by headshot119 Reason: Mod note Log in to reply |

From what I can see the 2S04's next workings are all correct. as an example in Cambridge sim 1Rxx can be either Norwich to Cambridge or King's Cross to Royston and a couple of those are duplicated. And you can get an out of sequence TD for trains that have a different start/finish or different route to rest of day for trains that operate at certian times of day agin on Cambridge. Cambridge to Ipswich are normally 2Wxx but once a day in you get a 2Axx. Last edited: 20/03/2017 at 13:50 by MarkC Reason: edited Log in to reply |

However, this train doesn't fit into the standard pattern of headcodes and workings, and 2S04 is correct. It was changed to a 2Pxx train ID in the December 2016 timetable change to make it consistent with Cross Country's early morning Bristol - Cardiff which operates over the same route.
