Hi all,

In the Derby sim I have the following scenario.

A T/C failure across Egginton Crossing causing Egginton AHB to fail. Train 2P36 is standing at EN10 signal with the emergency replacement on.

I instruct the Egginton Jcn signaller to instruct the driver of 2P36 to pass EN10 at danger, then nothing happens.

2P36 doesn't move.

I have experimented and found that if I pause the sim, then re-authorise 2P36 to pass EN10 at danger via the Trains List menu, then restart it, all works as planned. 2P36 proceeds towards DY297.

Is there something I'm missing here?

Better if you can upload a saved game with the problem rather than a screen shot as it enables others to delve into things rather than just seeing a picture.

Thank you - yes it would be more helpful.

Here is the saved sim taken at 1300 sim time.

2P36 enters at 13.07.01
2P36 at a stand at EN10 at 13.10.44
Egginton Jcn signaller calls 13.14.33
Egginton Jcn signaller instructed to authorise 2P36 to pass EN10 at red at 13.15.15

...then nothing happens.

Thanks

Vince

Ah bugger.....

While re-running the save (and also from a new start) I can see the error of my ways!
The phone response for (apart from wait # mins) are not working as intended.

The work round method is to use the 'F2' options for the trains, but I know that this is not ideal.
I shall carry on with the breaking of this part of the data for the simulation.

Many thanks for the spot on this.
