Defensive Driving Rules 26/06/2017 at 06:52 #96013 | |

Hi all, I'm trying (without much success) to use defensive driving rules to control a train's speed as far as the next signal after it has been advised to pass a signal at red. For line examination trains are restricted to 20mph in Simsig but for other reasons they accelerate up to line speed. The Red Aspect rules I have tried are as follows:- Asp=R:From=0+:Now=20spd;Next=N/A;Dist=0m and Asp=R;From=0+;Now=20spd;Next=20spd;Dist=3000m In the second example the 3000m is an arbitrary figure meant to be greater than the distance between any two signals on the sim. Neither work though. I presume the inclusion of a red signal in the defensive driving rules is for this particular purpose otherwise it would seem to be pointless as the rules refer to the signal just passed and trains will not pass a red signal in Simsig (except as provided for in the F11 Incident Control Panel under the "Trains" tab) Vince I walk around inside the questions of my day, I navigate the inner reaches of my disarray, I pass the altars where fools and thieves hold sway, I wait for night to come and lift this dread away : Jackson Browne - The Night Inside Me Last edited: 26/06/2017 at 07:20 by VInce Reason: None given Log in to reply |
