Seeing as we are a mere 48 hours away now I am going to have one last stab at the identity of what would be good to have but maybe might not get. How about bridging the gap from Tyneside up to Edinburgh or something that goes into the grey and murky depths of Tees side to join up with York and Tyneside. They do say that there is some beautiful coast line up in that neck of woods.......over to you Postal Geoff Last edited: 09/11/2017 at 10:59 by northroad Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: casey jones |

As we are 48 hours away a quick reminder to sign up if you want to attend and haven't already done so - and if you did sign up but cannot attend, please cancel your registration. I'll be doing the admin stuff like printing the badges tomorrow (Friday) afternoon so it would help if any sign-ups/cancellations were done before then. PS Could whoever gets into the room first please take a couple of pics before we start moving the tables so that we can put things back in the right places when we finish. PPS I have just spoken to the venue. There has been a major upheaval in the last week and the pub is now under new management with new kitchen staff. The full menu will not be available but they will have basic pub stuff like burgers and chips, various platters etc, There are lots of places to buy sandwiches or eat indoors adjacent to the pub if there is nothing on the pub menu that suits. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 09/11/2017 at 11:38 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply |

I a separate thread - https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/47117 - someone posted a "Swim Wish Mega List" which included sims for Doncaster and Manchester Picadilly. A separate reply to that was: Javelin395 in post 102715 said: Some great areas on your wish list. Maybe one of them will make a debut at the forthcoming meet ? I remember attending a meet once (a Derby one, IIRC, but it may have been in London) during which I overheard one person saying they were going to work on Doncaster and another saying they were going to work on Manchester Pic. Therefore I would guess that perhaps one of these will feature on Saturday. Either way I am looking forward to it and look forward to seeing you all there. Cheers, Dave Log in to reply |

Enjoy the meet. Looks like quite a few going this time - plus there's that special news coming up! Those not at the meet: fear not, all will be revealed here too during the course of the meet - although give people a chance to find the time to post! Some people have guessed a few of the sims correctly, especially those that actually live and work there, so can I please ask to hold back until 12noon GMT? As some of you may have seen on our Facebook page, there will be three new sims played at the meet which are virtually ready for release. We're using the day to catch any last minute bugs so that we can hopefully release the sims by a week later. Also on the Facebook page we mentioned two more sims that are going to be previewed only. These are a long way off being finished but some representatives will be at the meet to talk about, and to demonstrate them. Neither has a timetable so you won't be playing any trains but believe me, there will be plenty to look at. My plan is to report progress on these two sims every 2-4 weeks until release so that you're all kept in the loop. No, we don't know exactly when they will be ready as they're a major technological step for SimSig. I hope you'll be as excited as we all are! A great day out yet again and a big big thanks to all involved with the day. A big thank you to the Piccadilly team and wow what a challenge that was. Trains everywhere and not for the faint hearted but will be a definite addition to my collection when released. Geoff Log in to reply The following users said thank you: casey jones, postal |

Thanks for a good meetup, shame I wasn't able to stay for the curry afterwards. Was good to see a number of you for the first time in getting on for 4 years (!). New sims looked very good. Whilst I didn't do much signalling, I did get to observe from the host desk for a lot of it. Thanks to all involved it and hope to see you all again soon.

Just to answer someones earlier question about the number of screeens that were 'hoped' to be linked.... The 3 UK sims had at least 14 chained! There were about 3 or more Australian ones. On top of that many iPhones/iPads etc. were on view and even mre pc's being used to demonstrate editing and development - all off 2 mains sockets! Post has attachments. Log in to view them.
