I need some help/guidance please.
I have 5L93 in siding #1 and am trying move ot to platform 4. The manual says "to bring a train out, key the hand points N or R as required then set the route away from the appropriate shunt signal."
I've tried everything I can think of but I always get the message "Hand points not keyed".

I'm running version 1.1 and suppied 2009 timetable - save position attached.

Any help appreciated.

I loaded the save, just keyed the hand-point Normal and the route set OK as attached.

Are you sure you've 'keyed' the points (ie showing blue markers), not just set them to lie normal? If they are keyed properly you should be able to place a yellow reminder on them.

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

Thanks, Andy, for clarifying the keys of N or R.

It is very confusing what the wiki help says "key" as you automatically think you have press the keys of R or N on keyboard when actually using the letters on keyboard had no effect !!

Now i have to remember the blue markers are key to be keyed in

The definition of 'keyed' is available in the glossary on the wiki: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=usertrack:glossary:keyed (now with added instruction for how to control in SimSig)

In my game we've just routed 1L14 from P6 into CS #2 via shunter's release "E", but train called up to say it's not allowed on goods lines.

Thanks
Jamie
