Hello! Sections of the track are showing occupied even though they aren't. I've tried to reinstall through the updater, to reconnect / disconnect. CGilmour tried to save and restart the host, but nothing helps. Has this occured to anyone else? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Fairly common if there's a poor internet connection between the client and host. Or if the host has started a save game from a much older version of the simulation. Started from fresh with the 15/10/2009 TT 0445 start on both sims (obviously). must be the internet. MICH was also connected with no issues. Craig How to report an issue: www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=usertrack:reportanissue Log in to reply |

As it was working correctly for at least one other client, the slow internet theory is the most likely cause.

That looks a pretty extreme set of problems for slow internet, particularly since trains on the right hand side appear to be properly synchronized. It looks a lot more like a version mismatch. I'm worried about "network loss" theories since we're using TCP for this, so nothing should ever be lost. The fact that the clocks appear to be in sync (though I can't see both clocks for Victoria Central) also makes me worried. Messages should be processed in order, so network lag should show in the clock as well. I will think further on this. Log in to reply |
