I had another email bounce-back today which was investigated, with Sacro's help (though any mistakes in what follows are my own). It would seem that if the email address you use in your profile is one that forwards to a gmail account (there may be others), a header gets added (forwarded-by/from) which breaks the DMARC checksum of the message. The receiving server then correctly rejects the message because it failed the DMARC test. Think of it as evidence of tampering by the server that forwarded it. In summary, if the email address you use in your profile is one that forwards to another domain, and you're not receiving emails from SimSig (not just SimSig), check the forwarding settings. There may be a way to forward unadulterated. Or use a non-forwarding email address in your profile. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |
