I am currently running this sim with the OCT 2016 timetable and I noticed something I belive to be an error with 3Q61 The train is timetabled to Reading Lane Jn however on arrival at Reading Lane Jn it terminates and shows in F2 "terminated no more timetabled trips" and as a result prevents other trains departing/running though London Fields. the way I had to resolve was to use the "extreme measures" to remove the train from sim. This may not affect a chained sim to West Annglia, but running Liverpool street as a standalone it will. I'm sorry but I don't have a save of it happening as the nearest save I have is 0500 and it happens about 45-50 mins later and I took the above action before relising I may need a save. Further Note I had assumed initally it was a TT error, but I am thinking it may be a sim error as the train was meant to leave the sim at "Reading Lane Jn" but didn't, therefore it may not be a valid exit point (even thou it is an entrance point) Last edited: 03/09/2017 at 15:18 by MarkC Reason: edit Log in to reply |

I've just looked at the timetable, and it has Navarino Road Jn after Reading Lane Jn. That should be the exit point.

Sorry, thought this was a West Anglia thread. Forget what I said. I've just tried myself and, indeed, the train suddenly stops. I can see in the core code what's causing the behaviour. It's actually an old bug - Mantis 11791. I've raised the core code issue as Mantis 17812. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: MarkC |

The simulation is not set up to handle trains that appear at the approach and then disappear like that (too much off-screen magic that could go wrong so it's better to adopt the KISS principle). The train will be removed from the timetable. The sim can handle trains that do go all the way to Liverpool Street and/or back though, and Reading Lane Jn is the last timing point necessary - no need for Navarino Road Jn.
