OK new to all this and really enjoying getting to grips with thngs.
Bristol is currently my fave sim but get a bit fristrated as most of the time when a train arrives at Temple Meads it looses its ID and I have to interpose it when it leaves.
Is this a bug and can it be fixed?

Probably not. Suggestions for the reason include the TD being interposed at the wrong end of the platform, trains being signalled incorrectly via shunt routes (which often do not move TDs), or shunt moves being signalled correctly via shunt routes (in which case the loss of TD is expected).

To expand slightly on Danny's post: it sounds like you're routing trains using the shunt signals at Temple Meads, rather than just using main signals. For example, to set a route from signal 24 to signal 38 (far end of platform 8), you should just click on 24, then 38. Shunt signals 560 and 566 will clear automatically, as will AC9.
