I have noticed with the latest loader update the F8 simplifier is playing up, the list is not showing trains in time order even when the sort by time is listed as the display order, and clients when connected are seeing a lot more that the 2hrs ahead than they normally do, (screen shot attached of what is seen by a client, as I am currently connected to someones host) this did also happen when I was the host and as a solo player

Attached another screen shot if different location

Clients being able to see more than 2 hours ahead is a major improvement. What would be useful is the ability to sort on departure time as well as arrival time. One for the suggestions list, perhaps.

Two things at play here. A recent change was to show trains whose due time had passed but which had not entered the sim - in other words, to ensure that late trains didn't fall off the simplifier. Secondly, I'm curious why none of those trains (except a few at the bottom) have arrival/departure/passing times. That latter numerically places them at the top of the list since "no time" is 00:00.

It may be that some trains are showing that will never enter (mutually exclusive rules, for example). I've added a ticket for me to check this.

From what I have been seeing, alot of those trains (in numerous sims) would enter at some point, but as you stated no times arr or dep/pass even thou many of then have that set in the timetable.

I should also add some locations in sims appear fine whilst many are not

I was in a KX host earlier at roughly 1700 sim-time, & it was showing trains in F8 from 6am that had long-since come and gone!

In that same KX session, a simplifier I pulled up had no times at all for the dozens of trains listed, even though every train passing that junction was timed there. As a result, the simplifier was absolutely useless.

What may or may not be related: opening that simplifier caused a Network Sequence Error on my client, resulting in several anomalies on my part of the panel diagram. This probably didn't help me to get acquainted with the panel, which is unfamiliar to me in the first place. I strongly suspect that you have race conditions in a message queue, allowing old messages to be deleted from the queue before they've been sent to all clients.

That you got a sequence error after a large chunk of timetable data was sent suggests a bit of an overload, which is why we limit it to 2 hours for clients.

We'll look into the other things reported. No race conditions though; doesn't work that way.

At that point I'd only been connected for a few minutes, and there were still panels waiting for players.
