If a train is in platform 7A and starts from sig 168 via platform 8 and sig 167 ity loses its description completely. (Not even ****.)

I just tried that and it stepped out to the Stour or Derby lines, as appropriate. What steps did you take exactly? SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

I did a test and found no problem with the headcode moving from P7 S168 to the Up Derby behind S148. Barry Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Last edited: 28/11/2017 at 09:57 by BarryM Reason: edit Log in to reply |

Or has it stepped and overwritten the previous trains description? This is something which I've seen previously which can happen if train are running very close together. Mantis 18587 may make sense for those with access. James Log in to reply |

Hmm, yes, I have tried this again with nothing else around and the Train Description did properly step across and onward. Maybe my previous difficulty was with something else close by, as suggested by pedroathome.
