Peter.
I do remember watching a YouTube video a few years ago where someone took the chip from an Oyster card and put it into a toy magic wand.

Pretty sure the practice was banned by TFL.

There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

Not Eric Pode of Croydon ("My father was magic by profession - it was a miracle he could ever keep a job down. Haaaa..." or some words to that effect) I suppose? :-P

Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

Isn't the station Moreton-in-Marsh? Also, the anagram above doesn't seem to work anyway. Maybe I'm missing something?

I've corrected the spelling. I've always known it as Moreton-in-the-Marsh (like Much Binding) but I'm from Worcestershire so what do I know!

Apologies,

Peter.
