I've installed SimSig on a new laptop. I reinstalled it as few times as it wouldnt updated properly in Program Files folder so in the end I installed it on the Desktop and it updates fine. I have a licence allocated to this laptop for Fenchurch Street. But when I run SimSig and select Fenchurch there are no timetables loaded. When I look in C:\Users\Public\...\SimSig\Timetables\fenchurch then I see morning.wtt installed at the time of my most recent SimSig installation. I am not sure what I am doing, or what is going, wrong? Log in to reply |

I would highly recommend you install SimSig to the default location (Loader in program files, and simulations in public documents)

I think a recent change to check that the files in the timetable folder are actually timetables inadvertently rejected the older format timetables as invalid. It's on the list of things to fix. You can still open the simulation without a timetable, merge (open) the morning.wtt file in, and save it in the new format. Next time you run it should now be listed. As for installing in Program Files, if you can't update it then possibly you do not have the correct permissions to do so - are you using an administrator account? Maybe I was misinterpreting the "error" messages - it would say "Cannot rename [...]SimSigLoader.exe" etc. but at the end would say there were no errors.
