I've just had a notice from the sim advising me that 2D40 arrived at Cheshunt 2 minutes late (wrong platform) this is despite the fact that it is the 14:45 London Liverpool Street to Cheshunt London Overground service so is actually booked to use the bay platform there. The fact that both it and it's return working the 15:31 Cheshunt to London Liverpool Street London Overground are routed via Seven Sisters and the only platform at that location able to access the Seven Sisters line is the bay platform is neither here or there. *I'm not including the fact that Platform 2 could be use to reverse such services. Not sure why I got the notice as I've got more then enough issues to deal with then a rogue notice but thought I mention it! Log in to reply |

It used to be that wrong platforming would always triggered a message, even if the train was on time, however that no-longer seems to be the case, I changed my "Train Location Reporting" to always and as a result I can confirm that trains arriving into the Bay Platform at Cheshunt do report as Wrong Platform.
