5E01 0536 Glasgow Cen - Newton, booked Newton Pfm 1 but wrongly routed UML towards Uddingston (auto left in on M138 Sig) did not stop and query the route. Regards, Phil. Log in to reply |

I suppose I could have kept it running round the Hamilton Circle to Newton, in fact thinking about it that may be why 5E01 didn't query the route initially, maybe it is seen to be a valid move. Peter may have more to add, but there are so many allowed alternative routes in Motherwell that very few can be successfully checked against. For example the real railway would expect Glasgow - Carstairs to be OK via Cathcart, Bellshill & Holytown, some TOC/depot are OK via Carmyle, some also OK via Hamilton and Holytown. regards Bill Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Phil-jmw |
