Is an admin able to expedite an unlock please? My HDD has failed completely. Data is backed up, but my SimSig licence records are essentially toast. I know there's an unlock request procedure in the licence manager, but I'm not sure my wife can cope with me being grumpy for up to 28 days.... Any advice/ assistance VERY gratefully received. I doubt it'll take 28 minutes never mind 28 days to expedite an unlock request. It'd certainly take longer (possibly than 28 days) if we were minded to wade through the licenses to find yours. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

All unlock requests need to come through the license manager if you've lost access to the machine which has the licenses allocated to it. We usually action them within a few hours.

Given that there are a few moderators who log in a few times a day, it is unlikely to be more than a day or two before somebody checks. The 28 days is just to cover our rear ends. That was much appreciated on a day I've spent reinstalling software and data onto a new PC.
