Signal AMN2 is, from what I can see, the only simulated semaphore signal with 2 signal arms. Unlike on sims like Central Scotland and NE Scotland, the entire signal is not clickable, only the left hand signal is able to be clicked. Is there a possibility that the entire signal could be made clickable? Log in to reply |

Following from the issue of 6M02 that was reported in the TT topic. I Abandoned 6M04 TT when he got to Stalybridge so that he would run up the Ashton Line, reassigning the TT at Ashton Moss North Junction. He continued to run without issue until he got to BF18. However routing BF18 to the Exit Triangle on the Baguley Line, the route to MN835 and Philips Park South Jn, BF18 Will not clear. BF18 clears when a route is set to BF16, and the route from BF16 will clear to MN812 (Philips Park West Jn). Sim V1.0 Loader v4.6.12 Post has attachments. Log in to view them. I found that this wasn't working for some reason earlier. This has been fixed and will be in the update later on. James Log in to reply The following user said thank you: y10g9 |

I'm wondering if it's still possible for trains to run-round in the Ashburys area? There used to be several workings which entered from Ardwick on the goods line and ran round in the station area or the sidings: is that still possible? Indeed, is it possible to enter the sidings at Ashburys from the Piccadilly route? Enjoying exploring the simulation and expect to be developing timetables for earlier eras in due course, once I've double-checked on any issues with the new Stalybridge layout. My compliments to the creator/ tester(s) of Manchester East. Log in to reply |

I don’t think run arounds are possible, the daily stone workings to ashburys run in via Gorton but out via Baguley Fold. If they can’t do that for whatever reason they have to top and tail.
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: whatlep |

However this is now fixed for the next update. "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Log in to reply |

less bug more query. the Simsig Sim splits the workstation into the areas of the former boxes for multiplayer purposes etc. does it correctly reflect absolute block working too? Ie do Dinting and Ashton Moss North still work AB to Manchester east and vice versa? or was this replaced when the workstation opened?

Just before I was about to buy this new sim, I remembered that I have a credit left over from the generous draw that was run when Newport was released. Can an admin tell me how that credit might be applied to a purchase of this sim, please? Many thanks in anticipation. Log in to reply |

5D40 0436 Newton Heath - Piccadilly does not ring in from Guide Bridge Up & Dn Loop after changing ends to report that he is ready for departure towards Piccadilly, yet units from Ardwick depot do after reversing at Ashburys. Regards, Phil. Log in to reply |

pedroathome in post 107177 said:Ive checked with someone at stockport S&T. The indicator is worked by a plunger located at Flowery Field which the traincrew have to plunge. There is a second one located on GB867 for the same purpose. GB867 is held at red until one of the plungers are activated to prevent a train forgetting and disapearing off and stopping the job. Edit: sorry James you meant the other way! I would imagine it would be given as soon as the train passes the box on platform 1 towards hadfield or as it departs for glossop on platform 2. There is a rear balcony to the box which gives a view towards the glossop line which give sight of the tail lamp. Stalybridge Atochem siding - two questions 1) what's the method/ key timetabling points for getting a train out of Atochem to Guide Bridge? A test working seems to reject all attempts to set up a move between the two. 2) should Atochem be an additional entry/ exit location, or is it really intended to have a train "locked in" there for several hours until it departs? Thanks (& apologies if I'm being wilfully slow....) Log in to reply |

whatlep in post 107187 said:Stalybridge Atochem siding - two questionsLooks like there are three issues there: *Trains aren't recognising Stalybridge SE7035 (Rev) when they arrive there, and are passing through non-stop [Mantis 20065] *Trains won't accept a route towards the Up Huddersfield at Stalybridge if their next location is Stalybridge SE7035 (Rev) [#20066] *There's no path from the Autochem siding to Guide Bridge [#20067] Quote: 2) should Atochem be an additional entry/ exit location, or is it really intended to have a train "locked in" there for several hours until it departs? As it's a single track siding in the era simulated, there's nothing wrong with that. The siding is the same as any other location; you can have it form a next working, or split and join in there. Entry/exit points are generally used where there are multiple sidings at the location. jc92 in post 107185 said:It’s at Newton for Hyde, not Flowery Field. Normally the guard will do it as we endeavour to stop with the back cab of a 323 in line with it. It’s a pain if it doesn’t operate as we have call from GB867 to confirm it hasn’t registered and get authority to climb out and operate the plunger which adds a couple of minutes to the trip - Naturally this only happens when it’s throwing it down! It's worth noting that this grand 'plunger' at Newton for Hyde is actually just a button screwed to the wall on the platform... Post has attachments. Log in to view them.
