So I'm working on my project-x timetable for Oxted, and I am having a dividing problem with train 5X39... . 5X39 is 846m long, when it detaches the front at Ashurst to form 5E12 something happens that means 5E12 becomes 846m long, 5E16 becomes 282m long then SimSig realises something doesn't add up flags this error: then 5X39 vanishes from existence before 2E19 has a chance to come into existence The messages window shows the error happens on completion of the second divide (DF: 5E16) / (N: 2E19). But the problem stems from the first divide (DF:5E12), where it takes the original 846m and splits it into one of 846m and another of 8m. On the second divide (DF: 5E16) it takes an 8m train and divides it into an 846m one and an 8m one Run on Loader version 4.6.9 & Oxted data version 3.0 EDIT: for some reason the second screenshot shows the correct length for 5E16, no idea as to why. The train now standing on platform 2, should be on the rails Last edited: 16/05/2018 at 01:08 by rfw Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Problem solved. I'm an idiot. It was a PICNIC error... I forgot to set the train type of 5E12 & 5E16 in the editor to be a a 12 car 171 before the split happened, meaning it magiced up some train length and then when the new train was 274m longer than the old one SimSig only then intervened and questioned what was going on I feel stupid now. Stupid boy. The train now standing on platform 2, should be on the rails Last edited: 16/05/2018 at 01:09 by rfw Reason: None given Log in to reply |
