Having trouble playing New Street today - waste of £29.99 if you ask me!

Cant route from Platform 6/7 onto the Up Stour Line
5 ECS's came out of soho depot when only routed for 1, causing none of them able to move at soho north area
Timetable issues - things saying perry par north out of order in schedule... when it is not
I wrote the timetable months ago - brought the sim today and all of my electric trains have had the initial power button UN-ticked even though the train type has it ticked.
Trains not forming properly and saying with error 'new timetable has unsuitable electrification' - train clearly says EMU, electric overhead AC/DC selected.

Help would be appreciated

Morning,

Still have issues setting a route from Sig 172 plt 6 to the Up Stour.

I have downloaded the latest update.

Loader version 4.6.12
BNS version 1.6

Re-opened on bug board; Mantis 20119.

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

Soho sounds like a timetable issue rather than the sim itself. I have had New Street since the day it was released and aside from a couple of minor things that don't really affect its working have had no issues.

Would you be willing to attach the timetable or a save game so that we can investigate?

The 323 units (possibly others but haven't checked) have both "Overhead AC" and "Overhead DC" selected, when they are "Overhead AC" only in reality, and the lines in the sim are electrified as such. This is likely the unsuitable electrification warning.

Perry Barr West Jn is known about, but has been confirmed in the past as not affecting the running of trains. Mantis 12488 applies. The same warning throws up in an analysis of the 2009 and 2015 timetables I have, and both work as far as I can remember. I know from playing the sim before that I have sent trains that way with a timetable assigned and never had a problem. GeoffM posted on the forum " is not fixed but is only an analyser warning - it's due to the loopy-loo nature of the layout that the analyser thinks it's supposed to reverse, but the train itself should behave." in response to the initial reporter of the issue, and as far as I can tell it has not been reported again as causing a problem.

I cannot tell from the save or the timetable why five trains entered almost immediately at Soho. Was the first one delayed past the departure time of the subsequent ones?

and also - the error is only coming up on 350 units, not 323's

Sorry, as you mentioned Soho I looked at 323 units, but you have the same error on your 350s in that they do not use "Overhead DC" either.

I have just unticked the "Overhead DC" option on a couple of your train types and then checked the trains assigned to them and they still show initial power "Overhead AC" as I would expect.

Can I suggest you correct the train types, save the timetable, and then reload the sim and see what happens then?
