Hello everyone!

I am new to this SimSig signalling Simulator, I found this game On YouTube…

How long did it take you to get use to all the signals?

Welcome!

I think learning time depends rather on previous experience.

Some of us have the benefit of having been involved with signalling (whether officially, otherwise or both). In my case the official bit was all with mechanical frames, although I did also get my paws on a panel or 3 at times. That also meant I was fortunate in knowing how things tend to look. That embedded knowledge helped no end in learning new areas.

If you've had no contact with signalling before, if you've never heard of an overlap let-alone flank protection, there's plenty of people here who will be more than willing to help. The support available in the Simsig community is second to none. (Oh, and you might get a few of my ramblings about the dinosaur days as well, just for 'light entertainment' :-) )

A little light reading will also help. Try the 'Wiki' in the 'Documents' section of the Website.

Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate.
