Here is a list of the upcoming meets and events. We're trying to give you as much notice as possible, even if we don't yet have a sign-up event. Note that events marked "Tentative" are subject to change date and/or venue (whether the same town/city, or a completely different town/city).

The Glasgow meet is now definitely booked for Saturday 8 September 2018 at The Crystal Palace, 36 Jamaica Street, Glasgow, G1 4QD. This is a Wetherspoons house 200 yards from Glasgow Central station (in fact if you arrive at the back of a Pendolino from the south you could probably jump over the station wall and land on the pub roof). It is a 15 minute saunter from Queen Street.

The Meets section of the Wiki will be updated in due course and a sign-up sheet is now available..

Buses replace trains between Motherwell and Glasgow Central on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 September 2018
It's not known if Virgin Trains or TransPennie Express services will be affected.

Engineering work is taking place between Motherwell and Glasgow Central, closing some lines.
As a result, CrossCountry services to / from Glasgow Central will start from / terminate at Motherwell.
Replacement buses will run between Motherwell and Glasgow Central.

I can see 3 possible meets I could attend, although may I suggest Edinburgh as a possible meet in the future sometime?

Apologies if I'm being a numpty, I need to check whether I registered for the London meet on 17th November and - if so - delete myself. I've realised there's a diary clash and, although it should normally be first-come-first-served, the clash is with an AGM and I'm the treasurer :-(

Your reply to Keith;'s message reminded me to register for the London meet myself which I have now done.

Click on the London Meet link under the Upcoming Events section in the sidebar and you will get the option to edit or cancel your registration.

I do have to say that there is a serious doubt about the viability of the meeting as your withdrawal will mean that only 7 people are registered to attend. Unless the numbers pick up dramatically we will have no option but to cancel the booking as we can't expect the venue to reserve a whole room and staff the bar for us with only that number of people attending. In any event it would be pointless to try and run any significant multiplay with only that number, given those who will just sit and socialise rather than flogging a keyboard.
