On other forums there has been a button "Mark as Read" which changes the "unread" to "read" marker on a message, thread or indeed the whole forum. Can such a button be added? I appreciate the "Introductions" thread keeps the site clean of spammers etc, but as a mere user of the sim I don't need to read this thread and some others.

I was hoping that someone would have given a response to this, or at-least an option to stop getting selected threads bumped to the top of the "latest posts" box for Forum when someone replies!

That way, it stops showing up "NEW" next to it's name whenever someone replies!

I think it'd be better just to have a "mark all as read" button. Then you have a reference point for new threads, you can read the ones that interest you and then mark then rest as read.
