Good morning (or evening) all. I have just started a new York North/South (version 1.6) game and have got this erroe message. I'm running the latest Loader (4.8) and the tt 15-10-09 (0000 start), Standard mode, IECC ARS, era: 2011 & earlier. I've just clicked 'OK' and continued, but was wondering what it means and whether I will notice anything unusual during the game. Any ideas? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. You won't notice anything amiss. It'll be fixed in a future update. (Mantis 20471 already applied)

Version 1.7 just installed, same problem. I believe it's triggered by 1P66 in this TT, which is seeded on the Down Leeds and is booked to run into York 11X. This is a route which differs between eras. As well as failing to route into the platform, ARS inappropriately defers 1P66's route past Holgate Sidings in favour of one of the freight trains therein, which are not booked to depart for hours. Then, with the stock 2016 TT and the post-2012 era, about a minute after starting 6B70 enters with a path via the Up Slow at YYS, and triggers a similar internal error. ARS is then unable to set the route 246->214, and complains about off-route when this is set manually. The sim can be run without manual intervention (with Extra ARS and Beginner mode) up to this point. Last edited: 13/04/2019 at 00:38 by Chromatix Reason: None given Log in to reply |

It seems that any train going south causes the problem at 246. The TD goes black and you are unable to set ARS until after passing 770

Its saying that an ARS path in one era includes data that belongs in another era. It only comes to light when the offending element comes into play so it takes time to find them. All we require is the Pxxx reference and the element it's objecting to, you don't need to spend time trying to figure out how to happened and how to reproduce. You're right in it being a route that differs between eras. A minor annoyance, little more. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |
