Train delayed at any location? 09/08/2018 at 20:23 #110867 | |

Hi all, Just a quick question - it seems to me that train delays generally occur at stations on sims (as that's where they stop frequently, of course). But it is possible in SimSig for a train to fail / become delayed, say while standing at a random signal due to a delay or across a junction as sometimes occurs in the most inconvenient of places in real life? I know of course we can technically create these events ourselves by pausing trains etc., but wondered if it would happen in sims. Thanks, Joe Log in to reply |

No, currently delays only happen at scheduled stops. There's a wish list item (Mantis 17, so quite old actually) that mentions the idea, though.
Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick. Log in to reply |

Trains can be delayed at junctions by track circuit failures or signal failures and even on plain line.
