Great to see Carlisle on the Loader! Just a couple of small things. On the midnight start seed train 6E74 is Truncated to 84m. Should be 398m. Does not affect the TT. 4S49 is Looped in the Tebay DGL. The loop is 565m. 4S49 is 570m. Seems to fit if TT is changed to Far end Exact Regards, Tim. Log in to reply |

Also: 5N97 never enters at 00:14 because of a rule not to enter until 2N97 leave the sim at 23:44. Rule 5N62 must not depart from (unknown) needs a location. Log in to reply |

Can't remember whether it cuts it back with reference to the length of the TC on which the train is seeded, the location of the previous signal or the location of the previous points Same thing happens to 4S50 in the 1979/80 TT at Carlisle Stn. Paul Biddle (Officer Dibble) wrote the original TT but had to look after some more pressing matters so I did the tdying up for him before the release. I'll log the issues raised and let Tom have new versions of the TT to push out in a couple of days time (to allow for more of my clangers to come to light!). “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 13/08/2018 at 18:27 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: tjtbcork |

The "issues" with points is firstly exactly where did it come from, secondly there could be locking at route setting time which would be defeated if no route is actually set which is the case with seeding.tjtbcork in post 110989 said:From memory it cuts it back if the seeding train would be across a set of points in the wrong position. Train lies over two sets of points but core code is not truncating it. It may make the train one or two minutes down when leaving the sim but probably the least bad of the options. Regarding the 5n97 issue, I just edited the rules by deleting the entry! It then worked fine. What is puzzling me (call me dim if you like) is that there is no provision to phone Kingmoor. When you have a down train going in to the yard, where do you send it U/D 1 or 2 or the recess - or do you just take your pick and send it where you like? CheersIn modern day era, Kingmoor Yard is basically a transit camp rather than a Yard so Down trains go to the Down set of tracks and Up trains to the Up set. You should normally run Down trains to the Recessing Sidings. The ability to put them into the Up Departure lines allows the operator to perform a run-round move so that trains which are due to lie over could arrive from (say) the Settle & Carlisle and go back (say) to the Maryport & Carlisle but off the top of my head I can't remember any such moves in the 2009 TT. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply The following user said thank you: nnr |
