Peterborough 1977 in Single Player Mode.

I've been playing Vince's 1977 Six Day timetable and read in the timetable notes before starting the sim that there was no ARS at Peterborough in that era.

The option of running the sim with ARS is given, but Vince recommends that for certain classes of trains, ARS should be disabled from the start.

Now, my question is, has anybody had the nerve to run this sim in single player mode with ARS completely disabled? ? If so, how difficult is it?

I'd be interested to know, because if it is possible, I will definitely give it a try some time soon.

Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate.

I wouldn't have thought it was that difficult even with the ARS disabled, I've not played it in a while but as long as you keep on top of your services you shouldn't have any issues.

Let us know though how you get on!

Regardless of which TT I'm running (and in all sims now I only run heritage TT's if they are available due to the greater variety, if not volume, of traffic), I always run the Peterborough sim with ARS only enabled for the gate boxes (and even then you have to look out for a couple of crossings yourself) and I have no problems at all.

Regards,

Phil.
