Balance failures across panels? 22/09/2018 at 16:18 #112275 | |

My idea is a slider that allows failure probabilities to be more balanced across panels. If the slider is zero, failure probability is as it is now. If the slider is full, failure probability is higher on panels with no existing failures, and lower on those panels with live issues. If z were the slider, f the current failures on that panel, the failure probability could be multiplied by (1+zf)/(1+z) (and normalized, I don't know the current equations used) What do you think? Phil, For multiplay. Just as you could argue that that "max failures" doesn't reflect real life. The probability nudge wouldn't make failures guaranteed to be balanced across signallers - one unlucky soul could still get all the problems. Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |
