Rather more worrying issue this time.

Playing Marylebone Version 3.9 on Loader V4.8.2 I've just encountered an access violation.

The full text of the error message goes:

Quote:
Internal error: Exception in OneSecondLo (EAccessViolation: Access violation at address 005F0EAE in module 'SimSigLoader.exe'. Read of address 00000004)
This seems to break the ARS. The sim continues, at least for the five or ten minutes I played on after encountering the message. But yeah, no ARS.

Save game attached.

For the record I am playing on Ubuntu using Wine, but that isn't usually a problem.

From my own prodding and poking, it seems as if the problem is caused by the call on route from ME385 on the Up and Down Aylesbury to platform 1 at Aylesbury. This is to allow 2A41 to join to 5A37.

I actually set this route early, before the ARS had set the route from ME181 to ME385, because the ARS won't set the call on route and I didn't want to forget to do it. I dunno if that's related.

If I start the game paused and cancel the route from ME385, things are okay. I then get the error if I reset the route after a few seconds.

From investigating the save file it appears the simulation was updated between saving and re-loading. I vaguely recall a fix in the area that it crashes so it's probably unfortunately a breaking change in that respect. Not much I can do I'm afraid.
