Train stops on scissors! 11/11/2018 at 15:10 #113240

Hi,

With the crossover from P5 to Up 434 stuck in reverse due to TCF, I tried to talk 1A50 from Down 435 over and back the two scissor junctions to get into P5, with all points keyed.

However, it promptly has gone to "moving at 0mph" on the first junction, and now the whole station throat is up the swannee. Presumably this shouldn't happen.

If anyone has any good ideas short of removing this train please let me know

Thanks

I would suggest you tell the driver to change ends and put him back behind the original signal you talked him by.

Not all point work supports all routes available over it, even if you do manually talk a train by a signal.

"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer

I’ve signalled a trains through the route you describe in the real world and quite recently (it’s keeps the drivers on their toes lol). But it’s been a fair few years since I’ve interacted with any of the sim designers on any of the TBASC sims.

Shame I would have thought your knowledge would be extremely useful
