Simulation and Timetable Release Schedule

First off, a note of caution, this only applies to simulations in development by Headshot119 (Karl) and Pedroathome (James), and timetables in development by Meld (John), Kaiwhara (Andrew) and MarkC (Mark). Other things may be released by other developers above and beyond what is planned here. All timetable releases referenced are from the 8th of April 2015 set. Any simulation released is assumed to ship with an 8th of April 2015 timetable.

I will keep on top of this post, and add any updates, changes etc as we go along.

Just a quick update...

Following on from feedback at the London meet, and from the simulation testers Sandhills has been drawn in the more traditional "scrolly" style, and an updated preview can be viewed in the original post. The manual is also available for people to have a browse through should they wish, though please note we are still working on it and things are subject to change, again the link is above.

2018 Review

On the whole most of what we promised in 2018 made it out on time, only one simulation has slipped back and that's West Wales, mainly because we want to ensure some of the complicated token arrangements and intermediate lock in facilities are available.

Over the next few days we hope to have something up for 2019, though I can assure everyone that at least one new simulation will be previewed at the March meet, and we think you will love it!

Only thing with Sandhills sim, other than blockaides not much scope for timetables as Merseyrail have had the same clockface timetables for years on most lines, only addition has been the 4tph on Chester branch.

Still looking forward to the sim being released though.

You will be pleased to know then that not only does it ship with the 8th of April 2015 "groundhog" timetable, it also ships with two differing blockade timetables!

That's good to know, hopefully one of the timetables could well be the Wirral Loop blockade from a couple of years ago.

Ok I didn't really want to post here.. but after re-reading this post but start of January this was mentioned in the above text 'next few days'.. it's now been nearly 3 months or 56 days today and yep I'm still wondering what this something is to start off 2019??.. Is there any updates please? I'm still to decide on a new sim purchase.

We're still in the process of working out a planned release schedule for 2019, things are taking longer than initially planned for various reasons. Though rest assured we are all busy working away in the background.

Yes, we took a step back to review testing and development procedures which is nearly wrapping up. That has delayed things a little, sorry.
