Currently the Wiki pages for past and forthcoming meets are filed under two different paths (e.g. https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=meets:March2019 for the meet next March in Birmingham or https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=meets:previous_meets:November2018 for yesterday's meet in London). Does any one know what the justification is for having the Meets folder and then a Previous Meets subfolder? The folder/sub-folder structure means that every time a meet takes place, the original data in the Meets folder has to be copied across to a new Wiki page in the Previous Meets sub-folder which seems to be an unnecessary extra piece of work rather than just editing the page to tell what happened at the meet then saving it. It also means that the link on the parent Meets page of the Wiki has to be edited rather than just copied and pasted to another location on the page. If it is all just an accident of history, would anyone object if I brought all of the existing information into the single Meets folder and away from the Previous Meets sub-folder to try and tidy things up? “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |

Seems sensible to tidy it up. My only comment is that it's a bit odd having the link in just the pub name (it looks like a link to the pub website)- maybe put the link across the entire description?
