Another timetable done. As usual, based on the information from the National Rail data feeds. Freights are from various sources. Allocations best guesses, will iron out the inconsistencies between this and adjacent sims as I work further on it. 6 AM start, Sunday timetable with just under 200 trains. The download only includes 155 trains and seems to be missing most of the passenger services before 9am, which I remember were there in the game played yesterday night. I did the Reading panel up to 9:00 sim time, had many trains and in the TT I just downloaded, there are none on that panel before 9.

Didn't we play a weekday timetable yesterday though? And this is a Sunday? I may well be wrong but just a thought. CGG Log in to reply |

And this is a Sunday?Yes, you are correct, the timetable used yesterday was, apparently, the Project X timetable (here). As for the timetable containing "just under 200 trains", that was before I removed the straight through (i.e. Wootton Bassett Jn -> Bathampton Jn (via Thingley Jn) services, which were included at first (because such services are included in the default TT) but then removed since they're not necessary and they cause an unecessary slot request in singleplayer. It appears to no longer be available on the site. I'll have to see if I can dig out and upload it again.

I've removed that thread. One there wasn't really a need to create another new thread to discuss the same subject, and two it's something already known about, and we are slowly migrating the files across. Thanks for explaining! The thread https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/49289 still mentions the 11-11 TT though. By the way, were there engineering works that morning? I see the first two trains to Plymouth & beyond (1C05 and 1C76) are diverted over the Melksham line. AJP in games Log in to reply The following user said thank you: JamesN |

My apologies. The thread is here: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/49315 (it is in the wrong category) I believe the game description listed 11-11 so I thought that'd be the timetable, but it appears either me or the description was mistaken. AJP in games Log in to reply |

Just a quick question: In Westbury Project X no trains call at Aldermaston, Midgham or Newbury Racecourse. any reason for that? just curious. Jezz Last edited: 04/12/2018 at 11:29 by jem771 Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Don't know, think you should start a separate thread for discussion of that timetable, though. Thanks Log in to reply |

I've just completed this scenario (Nov 11 2018) and I had a problem with 7N86 from Merehead quarry at 2230. I raised this in a post and was given various help. (Not sure how to create a link, but it is under the topic heading "Merehead Quarry Departure Without Permission 11 Nov 2018".) It transpires that the length of the White's crossing siding is about 800metres. Therefore the length of the train has to be less than this or it will simply reverse back into the departure line which is what was happening. Reducing the length to 700m causes no problems. Perhaps you could alter the length of this train on the originally published timetable to prevent others from having a similar problem. Thanks, will fix. Had no information on the train's length IRL, so had to calculate based on the given timing load/tonnage... I see this information was not on the wiki until recently. On a side note, I can't remember if there are other sidings which might reasonably be timetabled to and where the length information is not available (which it should be, of course). Cheers, Alex Last edited: 05/12/2021 at 15:21 by AlexRail575 Reason: minor clarification Log in to reply |

Thanks Alex. I've put a slight alteration into the wiki which should explain the problem. I have looked at another timetable and the lengths are always less than 800m. Your timetable did not raise any other problems for me and so I presume that the train lengths are fine. Thanks again for creating the timetable.
