I'm still very new at this and I'm struggling to get the sequence right for sending trains back into Pentrefelin Yard from Good Junction. I've got the bit about setting up a route from GJ24 to PF6. However, I can't seem to get the sequence right without triggering an adverse signal penalty, getting a "Route not available" error or setting the route well in advance, having the driver stop at GJ24 (which doesn't clear by itself) and authorising the driver to pass the signal at danger. What could I be doing wrong, please? Stephen Log in to reply |

You need to set a route GJ24 > PF6. Then operate Pentrefelin Ground frame. "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Log in to reply |

I've got that bit working, but is the train supposed to then be stopped at GJ24? The ground signal doesn't clear by itself and I have to give permission to pass the signal. Should I be setting the route in advance or wait for the service to reach GJ24 and come to a halt?

Are you running the latest version of the sim (4.1) and loader (4.9)? You route the train upto PF6 from GJ24, the signal won't clear straight away but it will clear on approach of the train. You then operate PF ground frame when the train arrives at PF6. I am. I'll give that a go. Each time I tried it I had already set the route through the ground frame, which may have been the problem. Thanks for your help. Stephen Log in to reply |
