The development team are pleased to announce that at least one brand new simulation will be previewed at the March 2019 meet. We reckon you will love this simulation.

This thread is purely for speculation over what the simulation may be. Discussions around the meet should be in the meet thread.

As a quick reminder if you haven't already signed up, you can do so here.

I'm guessing it's Chester to meet up with NE wales, NWC and sandhill and finish the WAB Sims.

Excellent choice of meet sim. Plenty of time between trains for the bar.

I’m wondering if the ‘love it’ comments might be a cryptic hint?

(Probably not though 😂

You say brand new so maybe it could be any of the following:

Three Bridges (Gatwick to East Croydon so chains with Brighton)
Three Bridges (Croydon to chain with Oxted and Victoria Central sims)
Doncaster (to chain with Peterborough, Leeds, York, Worksop, Saltley and South Humberside sims)
Leicester (So it chains with Rugby Centre and West Hampstead sims)
Woking/Basingstoke (So it chains with Wimbledon sim)
Inverness/Highland Mainline (So it chains with NE Scotland)

It could be anywhere, it might even be a non UK sim!

Great Eastern (Colchester ASC) would be good: I think I mentioned in the wish list thread that I wouldn't mind seeing a sim of Colchester ASC.

I could also see Crewe and Chester, either as one sim or separate sims, being a possibility though: would form a link that would chain to North Wales Coast, North East Wales, Staffordshire (Stafford & Stoke-on-Trent) and, I think, Lime Street to Runcorn.

Sadly I won't be there though as I am away for that weekend.

Genuinely curious, what do you mean?

Probably where you wrote "We reckon you will love this simulation".

Must admit I wondered if there's a hint there too, but guessing not!

I meant more, what does "We reckon you will love this simulation" point people towards. Maybe I'm being dense!

It was only that it seemed an unusual phrase to use, and was repeated exactly in a couple of threads so I wondered if it was intentional. Either way I await further news with interest!

Is it the long awaited Peak Rail sim to chain to Derby? Or maybe the churnet Valley to chain to Staffordshire? 😂

Well I thought 'love' = 'tennis' = Wimbledon, which of course we already have so then I decided it probably wasn't a hint anyway.. 😂

The rumour I'd heard was a special sim for Mr Gallon, the heritage Royal Mail underground line in London ;)
