I'm trying to setup and host a game using Vodafone broadband but unfortunately like most people i am unable to host the game due to port forwarding, I've read through most of the threads and it just doesn't make sense to me. if somebody can simplify it then that would be amazing. I've attached my broadband settings hope this helps. Thanks Saul Class3708 Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

If I were to guess based on the screenshot, set the service to "Simsig", the protocol to TCP, the lcoal port to 50505 and the host port to 50505. The local IP address needs to tbe IP address of the PC running SimSig. To get your IP, click start on the PC, run a command prompt and type ipconfig. Look for a line starting with IPv4 address. If there's more than one it likely starts 192.168.x.x To test, start SimSig running as a server on the default 50505 port and try and connect. Report back if successful or otherwise.
