I've sent in a winter 2018 King's Cross timetable. Please feel free to post any issues here. The timetable has been run and doesn't appear to have any major issues, though there's a little work to do on freight paths when I get time. I might have a go at doing a variation for this week's Brighton blockade service, which has some amendments to various diagrams. 3B051 which becomes 2J051 turns around in Plat 1 at HERTFORD NORTH according to the published timetable and according to the WTT and the GBTT. Is there now a crossover that is not shown in Kings Cross version 3.4? (I just used Plat 3 instead) looking at opentraintimes.com, yes there is indeed a crossover :-). Fortunately it’s possible to simply use platforms 2 or 3, and fortunately this doesn’t cause any conflicts. Sooner or later a timetable is going to appear where there is a conflict though! There’s a few other bodges to accommodate a timetable based around infrastructure that isn’t on Simsig - trains which exit via the country end of Hornsey Depot is another. small correction (but a trap for young players) 5U33 enters Letchworth CS (south) at 1135 should be 1235 or later. (not due to arrive Letchworth until 1255) Log in to reply |

Again the Simsig layout here isn’t quite prototypical (I’m not sure if it’s a simplification of reality or merely outdated). There is the option to put it in the reversing siding if one needs to put anything else into or out of the sidings.
