To get sounds, you'll need to add them manually. There are some available to download from the website, or you can choose your own. Once downloaded, In F3 -> Messages -> Event Settings -> Choose type of Event, Browse for the sound file, and at the end select OK. Hope this helps Log in to reply |

Following a hard drive failure I have replaced the drive and everything was working OK except that there was no sound on SimSig. I have installed sounds before and followed the normal procedure but nothing resulted in sounds functioning. In the end I gave up and started afresh with new system files and my favourite Sim "Bristol". I started it up and every action was announced by a generic beep beep sound. So far so good, then I changed three or four sounds to my preferred sound eg a ringing telephone. From then on for the sounds that I have changed I get no sound while the beep beeps carry on without problems. I have no idea what to try next, does anyone have any suggestions or better still solutions? Thanks. Blair Ramsay Log in to reply |

With a sim loaded up, press F3, click on "Messages", in this window, go to Event Settings, click on an event you want a sound on, click the "play sound" box. You then enter the location of your sound files (.wav)
