I have the HOBC working away between Madeley and Norton Bridge, to get back to Crewe PAD it had to do a reversal at Stafford. 6Y07 left Little Bridgeford Jn and arrived on Stafford SGL right upto Trent Valley Jn, obviously the only place a HOBC train can fit with the loop at 840m. Problem I'm having it the timetabling of this. Using RTT as OTT doesn't have schedule no more, I used Stafford SGD with Far End Exact -550 so it could fit in the loop, driver calls up stating wrong route at 4314.. Could anyone advise where I went wrong please?

FL 66x2 + HOBC at 820m.

From what I can see you will need to set the route from Signal LS4314 to DSDG (Down Siding's Stop Board) If the train is 820m or 840m the driver will just take the route but if the train is 860m you will need to talk the driver to pass signal at danger.

Setting the route from LS4314 to DSDG you don't need near or far end stop. just add a note to the timetable to alert users to the need to set LS4314 to DSDG for the train to get into the platform.

Thanks for that MarkC, I removed Far End and -500, left it as default, route set into DSDG and off it went. I never thought of that as I was referring off driver notes and the timings. According to the notes 'the Signaller will set the route to LS1296 Trent Valley Jn to enable the service to fit without fouling.'

As discussed in the chat box, the wrong route call is incorrect in this case, Mantis 26311.
