Hi all, In the pre-2012 era, the only route I can select for trains leaving Yard South at the south side (signal 244) is the normal route to Y214 which fouls the points for trains leaving the station towards the LSL line. The warner route with a shorter overlap is not available for trains coming from 244, even though the line speed here is only 5mph. However, looking at at the changelog in the wiki, I see "0017612: [Q&A] S244 warner route? (York S Sdgs) (GeoffMayo) - closed. Should have used shorter overlap" at version 1.6. This message suggests that the route should use the shorter overlap, but the current sim version (sim 1.7 / Loader 4.14) does not do so anymore. Does anyone know how this overlap works in real life? Having read the old mantis ticket, Geoff has indicated that the route from Y244 should use the reduced overlap, the equivalent of routing the warner route but using the main aspect, this being due to the reduced linespeed exiting the yard.
