I don't know if I did something or there has been a change. In any simulation if I right click, the add sticky box comes up but when I click on the "add sticky note" the subsequent dialog box does not come up and the sim behaves as thought it has opened somewhere and wont allow me to do anything. I have opened a number of old saved sims and the behaviour is the same. I'm using loader 4.14

The "edit sticky note" dialog might have been shown outside of the screen area. After you clicked "add sticky note", try following these steps: 1. Press Alt+Space 2. Press "M" 3. Press any arrow keys once 4. Move the mouse around With any luck, the mouse will start moving the dialog around and you can move it somewhere on the screen and have it working again. This is something that becomes an issue if you have at some point you moved the sticky window onto an extended screen, then not had it connected at a different time. This page in the wiki has a help on how to reset the sticky note window. Of note, I've got into the habit of happy to move all windows between the 2 monitors that I have, but I will always leave the sticky note window on the primary monitor to make sure I never loose it again Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Airvan00 |

Oddly, the box in which you enter a new train description seems to change its mind regarding which screen it appears on, but it's never on the primary screen. Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Airvan00 |

The sticky note reset was the one that worked. Yes, I was using two screens and I was trying to fix a problem with SimSig starting on the Alternate screen and not the Primary screen. All good now, thanks again. Log in to reply |
